On November 19 (local time), Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda, who is visiting Phnom Penh, Kingdom of Cambodia, to attend summit meetings related to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), attended the 15th Japan-ASEAN Summit Meeting with the leaders of 10 ASEAN member countries, and the ASEAN+3 Summit Meeting with 10 ASEAN member countries plus Japan, China, and the Republic of Korea (ROK).
Prime Minister Noda also held talks with His Majesty Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Mr. Thein Sein, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, and Ms. Julia Gillard, Prime Minister of Australia, respectively.
In the evening, Prime Minister Noda attended the Gala Dinner hosted by Mr. Samdech Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and his wife.
