On November 6 (local time), Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda attended Session 2 of the 9th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM9) at the National Convention Centre. Then, Prime Minister Noda held talks with Ms. Yingluck Shinawatra, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand.
In the afternoon, Prime Minister Noda held talks with Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam. After attending the closing ceremony, Prime Minister Noda held talks with Ms. Helle Thorning-Schmidt, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Denmark.
Then, Prime Minister Noda met with Mr. Choummaly Sayasone, President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Secretary General of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.
In the evening, the Prime Minister had a meeting with Japanese nationals living in Laos.
