On January 18 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who is visiting the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) member countries in order to ensure the peace and prosperity of the Asia-Pacific region, visited the Republic of Indonesia.
After attending the welcome ceremony, the Prime Minister held a meeting among a small group of people. Then, Prime Minister Abe held talks with Dr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, President of the Republic of Indonesia, and held a joint press conference.
