APEC Leaders' Meeting: Day 2

On November 16, 2024 (local time), Prime Minister Ishiba, who is visiting Lima, Peru, to attend the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) Summit and related events, participated in the APEC Leaders’ Retreat.
He then had a meeting with H.E. Mr. Luong Cuong, President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, as well as an informal talk with H.E. Mr. Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia.
Following this, Prime Minister Ishiba visited the Campo Fe de Huachipa Cemetery, where he offered flowers to the grave of H.E. Mr. Alberto FUJIMORI, the late Former President of the Republic of Peru and expressed his condolences.
He later met with H.E. Mr. YOON Suk Yeol, President of the Republic of Korea, and concluded the day with a press conference discussing the Japan-ROK summit meeting and his participation in the APEC Summit.
