G7 Summit in Elmau and Bilateral Summit Meetings: First Day

On June 26, 2022 (local time), Prime Minister Kishida visited Munich in the Federal Republic of Germany to attend the G7 Summit in Elmau.
 
Prime Minister Kishida attended a session on the world economy and other matters, followed by a group photo session with the G7 leaders. The Prime Minister then attended a session on infrastructure investment and held a summit meeting with H.E. Mr. Olaf Scholz, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany. Afterwards, he attended a side event and then held a summit meeting with H.E. Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic.
 
In the evening, Prime Minister Kishida attended a working dinner on diplomacy and security, followed by his attendance at a cultural event.
