On June 27, 2022 (local time), Prime Minister Kishida, who is visiting Munich in the Federal Republic of Germany to attend the G7 Summit in Elmau, held a summit meeting with H.E. Mr. Charles Michel, President of the European Council, followed by a summit meeting with the Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada. The Prime Minister then attended a session on the situation in Ukraine and held a summit meeting with the Honorable Joseph R. Biden, Jr., President of the United States of America.

In the afternoon, after a group photo session with the leaders of the G7 members and guest countries, Prime Minister Kishida attended a session on climate, energy, and healthcare. The Prime Minister then held a summit meeting with H.E. Mr. Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal, followed by a summit meeting with H.E. Mr. Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa, President of the Republic of South Africa.
