Second Day of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting

On September 9 (local time), Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda, who is visiting Vladivostok, the Russian Federation to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting, held talks with Mr. Dato' Sri Mohd Najib Tun Haji Abdul Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia.
Then, the Prime Minister attended the Retreat Session 2 of the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting on the themes of strengthening food security and intensive cooperation to foster innovative growth. In the afternoon, the Prime Minister attended the working lunch on the agenda of the world economic situation and the Asia-Pacific region.
After the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting, the Prime Minister visited the memorial monument for the Japanese dead.
