Second Day of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting, and Other Activities

On November 12 (local time), Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda, who was visiting Honolulu to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting, first paid a visit to the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific and then to the Ehime-maru Memorial.
Prime Minister Noda then held talks separately with three state leaders: Mr. Hu Jintao, President of the People's Republic of China, Mr. Barack Obama, President of the United States of America, and Dr. Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev, President of the Russian Federation, at different hotels in Honolulu.
Later, Prime Minister Noda met with Dr. Thomas J. Donohue, President and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and others, and then held talks with Mr. Ollanta Humala Tasso, President of the Republic of Peru.
In the evening, Prime Minister Noda attended a banquet attended by state leaders and their spouses.
