The Prime Minister Meets with Governor of Miyazaki Prefecture Hideo Higashikokubaru
Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama visited Miyazaki Prefecture, which was facing an outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease, an infectious disease which affects livestock, and met with Mr. Hideo Higashikokubaru, Governor of Miyazaki Prefecture.

The Prime Minister Receives a Courtesy Call from the Kishu Plum Society
Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama received a courtesy call from the Kishu Plum Society at the Prime Minister's Office, ahead of Plum Day on June 6. The Kishu Plum Society conducts PR campaigns for plums, a local specialty of Wakayama Prefecture.
