On July 29 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited the Republic of Colombia.
The Prime Minister first laid a wreath at the House of Simón Bolívar. Afterwards, he received a salute at the Administrative Department of the Presidency of the Republic of Colombia. Following this, Prime Minister Abe held talks and a joint press announcement with H.E. Mr. Juan Manuel Santos Calderón, President of the Republic of Colombia, and then attended a luncheon hosted by President Santos.
In the evening, the Prime Minister attended a meeting of the Japan-Colombia Economic Committee. Later, he conversed with Japanese-Colombians, and then attended a reception hosted by the Japanese Government.
