Second Day of the Prime Minister’s Visit to Trinidad and Tobago

On July 28 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe held the Japan-CARICOM Summit Meeting during his visit to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. Following this, the Prime Minister held the signing ceremony and a joint press conference.
The Prime Minister then attended meetings with the leaders of CARICOM (Caribbean Community). Starting with a meeting with the Hon. Freundel Stuart, Prime Minister of Barbados, Prime Minister Abe then held meetings with H.E. Mr. Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica ; Dr. the Hon. Keith Mitchell, Prime Minister of Grenada; H.E. Mr. Donald Ramotar, President of the Republic of Guyana; H.E. Mr. Michel Joseph Martelli, President of the Republic of Haiti; the Hon. Denzil Douglas, Prime Minister of Saint Christopher and Nevins; Dr. the Hon. Kenny Anthony, Prime Minister of Saint Lucia; H.E. Mr. Ralph Gonsalves, Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines; and H.E. Mr. Robert Ameerali, Vice President of the Republic of Suriname.
