On September 24 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who is visiting Canada, attended a welcome ceremony given by the guard of honor at the Parliament of Canada. This was followed by talks with Mr. Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada, and a joint press conference.
Later, the Prime Minister moved to Rideau Hall and paid a courtesy call on Mr. David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, and Mrs. Sharon Johnston.
