On May 26 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who is visiting the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, moved to Naypyidaw and attended a welcome ceremony. Following this, at the Presidential Palace, he held talks with President Thein Sein and held a signing ceremony and joint press announcement.
Afterwards, the Prime Minister attended a luncheon hosted by President Thein Sein.
