On July 12, 2024 (local time), Prime Minister Kishida, who is visiting Berlin, Germany, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, President of the Federal Republic of Germany, and following a salute ceremony by the guards of honor, held a summit meeting and joint press conference with H.E. Mr. Olaf Scholz, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany.
