Prime Minister Kishida's Attendance at the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28): First Day

On November 30, 2023 (local time), Prime Minister Kishida visited Dubai in the United Arab Emirates to attend the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28).

The next day, on December 1, 2023 (local time), Prime Minister Kishida held a Japan-Israel Summit Meeting with H.E. Mr. Isaac Herzog, President of the State of Israel, before participating in the United Nations World Climate Action Summit Group Photo session and Opening Ceremony. Afterwards, Prime Minister Kishida held a Summit Meeting with His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, a meeting with European Council President Michel, and a Summit Meeting with H.E. Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Türkiye. Prime Minister Kishida then attended the high level segment where he delivered a statement, before attending a Japan-Egypt Summit Working Dinner.
