Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda met with Mr. Michel Joseph Martelly, President of the Republic of Haiti, at the Prime Minister's Office.

After the summit meeting, the leaders attended a signing ceremony for the exchange of notes on the Japan-Haiti Bilateral Agreement on Food Aid, and then held a joint press conference.
