Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda received the National Personnel Authority (NPA) Recommendation from Mr. Tsuneo Hara, President of the NPA, at the Prime Minister's Office.

In regard to the salary of national public servants in regular service positions, the NPA has recommended that the Diet and the Cabinet revise neither the monthly remuneration nor the bonus, and to review the system for salary increase and promotion in order to hold down salary level increases for those in their late fifties.
