Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda received the Final Report from Mr. Yotaro Hatamura, Chairperson of the Investigation Committee on the Accident at the Fukushima Nuclear Power Stations of Tokyo Electric Power Company, at Otemachi Common Government Offices.

The Prime Minister said in his address, "The government would like to read this final report carefully.
A nuclear regulatory committee will be inaugurated in the near future. With this regulatory committee taking the lead, we will take all possible measures so that this kind of accident will never occur again.
Chairperson Hatamura mentioned a moment ago that he wishes for us to 'take this report earnestly.' Precisely as he said, we would like to take the report earnestly and respond securely."
