Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda attended the plenary session of the House of Councillors.

During the session, Mr. Jun Azumi, Minister of Finance, explained the purpose of the bill for the revision of the consumption tax and others, and Mr. Tatsuo Kawabata, Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications, explained the purpose of the bill for the revision of the Local Tax Act and the Local Allocation Tax Act, and the Prime Minister answered questions from each party and faction.
