Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda visited Fukushima Prefecture.
After arriving in Iwaki City, the Prime Minister observed the fish market in Onahama and the center for sightseeing and local products, and exchanged opinions with Mr. Takao Watanabe, Mayor of Iwaki City. Then, the Prime Minister visited the temporary housing at Watanabemachihiruno, Iwaki City, and exchanged opinions with Mr. Toshitsuna Watanabe, Mayor of Okuma Town, and others.
In the afternoon, the Prime Minister headed to Kawauchi Village. After observing the healthcare, welfare and medical complex, the emergency temporary housing at Shimokawauchi, and the inspection laboratory for agricultural products, the Prime Minister visited Kawauchi Elementary School and conducted talks with students and Mr. Yuko Endo, Mayor of Kawauchi Village.
Later, the Prime Minister headed to the Fukushima Prefectural Office and exchanged views with Mr. Yuhei Sato, Governor of Fukushima Prefecture.
