Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda attended the plenary session of the House of Representatives.

During the session, Mr. Jun Azumi, Minister of Finance, explained the purpose of the bill for the partial revision of the Consumption Tax Act for the fundamental reform of the taxation system; Mr. Tatsuo Kawabata, Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications, explained the purpose of the bill for the partial revision of the Consumption Tax Act for the fundamental reform of the taxation system and the local allocation tax bill; and the Prime Minister answered questions from each party and faction.
