Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda attended budget committee meetings and plenary sessions of the House of Representatives and the House of Councillors.
At the Budget Committee meeting of the House of Representatives attended by all ministers, an explanation was provided by Mr. Jun Azumi, Minister of Finance, on the provisional FY2012 budget, and the Prime Minister answered questions from Committee members. The budget was then voted on and approved.
Following this, the provisional FY2012 budget and other bills were voted on and passed at the plenary session of the House of Representatives.
