Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda attended the meetings of the Committee on General Affairs and the Committee on Financial Affairs of the House of Councillors.
At the meeting of the Committee on General Affairs in the morning, the Prime Minister answered questions from Committee members on the local tax bill and the local allocation tax bill, and the two bills were voted on and approved.
At the meeting of the Committee on Financial Affairs in the afternoon, the Prime Minister answered questions from Committee members on the bill for the Act concerning Temporary Measures to Facilitate Financing for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), etc., the Enterprise Turnaround Initiative Corporation of Japan (ETIC) bill, the special accounts bill, and the special tax measures bill, and the bills were voted on and approved.
