On March 27 (local time), Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda attended the second Nuclear Security Summit held in Seoul, the Republic of Korea (ROK).

After being welcomed by Mr. Lee Myung-bak, President of the Republic of Korea, Prime Minister Noda delivered a speech entitled, "International Cooperation and Internal Measures to Strengthen Nuclear Security."
Then, during the working lunch session which followed a group photo session with world leaders, Prime Minister Noda delivered a speech entitled, "Synergy of Nuclear Security and Nuclear Safety."
