Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda attended a meeting of the Budget Committee of the House of Representatives.

At the meeting attended by relevant Cabinet members, intensive discussion took place on the impact studies of various policies, including free tuition at public senior high schools, as well as on matters such as reconstruction, disaster management, energy, and nuclear power, and the Prime Minister answered questions from Committee members.
