On November 19 (local time), Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda, who is visiting Bali, the Republic of Indonesia, to attend summit meetings related to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), joined Mr. Wen Jiabao, Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, and Mr. Lee Myung-bak, President of the Republic of Korea (ROK), for the Japan-China-ROK Summit Meeting.
Prime Minister Noda then attended the East Asia Summit (EAS) Meeting, which saw the attendance of the United States and the Russian Federation for the first time as official members, and held a press conference.
Later, Prime Minister Noda held talks with Ms. Julia Gillard, Prime Minister of Australia.
