Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda attended a meeting of the Budget Committee of the House of Councillors.

At the start of the meeting, a silent payer was offered for the late Takeo Nishioka, President of the House of Councillors, who passed away recently.

Then intensive discussion took place on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and other issues with the attendance of relevant Cabinet members, and the Prime Minister answered questions from Committee members.
