Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda held a meeting with Mr. Nobuaki Koga, President of the Japanese Trade Union Confederation (RENGO), and others representing RENGO at the Prime Minister's Office.

The Prime Minister said in his opening address, "Our top priorities are handling and conclusion of the nuclear incident, recovery and reconstruction from the Great East Japan Earthquake, revision of the energy policy, and rebuilding the Japanese economy and improving employment prospects. I would like to join hands and minds with RENGO to overcome this crisis."
