Second Day of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting
On November 15 (local time), Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama, who is visiting the Republic of Singapore to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting, took part in a breakfast session with the Chair of the fifteenth session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP15) and the leaders of APEC member economies.
Afterwards, Prime Minister Hatoyama attended the Leaders Retreat Session II of the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting, followed by the leaders declaration ceremony.
In the afternoon, Prime Minister Hatoyama held talks with Mr. Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev, President of the Russian Federation. After the meeting, the Prime Minister delivered an address on Asian policy at a hotel in Singapore.
