On September 16, 2020, the Abe Cabinet resigned en masse.
At the Cabinet meeting on the same day, the Prime Minister collected the letters of resignation from the Cabinet members and decided on the resignation en masse of the Cabinet. Afterward, the Prime Minister issued a statement on the occasion of the resignation en masse of the Cabinet.
The Prime Minister left the Prime Minister’s Office as the staff bid him farewell.
