On November 13 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited Istanbul in the Republic of Turkey.
Prime Minister Abe first held talks with H.E. Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Turkey , at Yildiz Palace. Afterwards, the leaders attended a special screening of films jointly produced by Japan and Turkey on the Ertuğrul Frigate incident and the rescue of Japanese in Tehran International Airport. Following this, the leaders held a joint press announcement.
