The Prime Minister Visits Singapore

On May 30 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited the Republic of Singapore.
First, the Prime Minister visited Marina Bay and Sentosa Island where he toured an integrated resort.
In the evening, the Prime Minister received a courtesy call from the Hon. Mr. Chuck Hagel, Secretary of Defense of the United States of America.
Afterwards, the Prime Minister delivered a keynote address at the 13th Asia Security Summit (Shangri-La Dialogue) hosted by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) of the United Kingdom.
On the morning of May 31 (local time), Prime Minister Abe held a summit meeting and a joint press announcement with H.E. Mr. Lee Hsien Loong, Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore. Following this, Prime Minister Abe attended a luncheon meeting hosted by Prime Minister Lee.
In the afternoon, Prime Minister Abe attended the Opening Ceremony for the “Beauty of KOGEI: Art Crafts in Japan” exhibition at the Japan Creative Center (JCC).
