On April 30 (local time), during his visit to the Federal Republic of Germany, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe first attended a Japan-Germany Seminar on Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises. Afterwards, the Prime Minister attended a welcome ceremony, held talks with H.E. Dr. Angela Merkel, Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, and held a joint press conference.
He then paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Joachim Gauck, President of the Federal Republic of Germany, and visited Museum Haus am Checkpoint Charlie.
