In the morning of October 29 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, during his visit to the Republic of Turkey, received a courtesy call from the pilots of the aircraft that were used to rescue Japanese nationals from the Tehran airport, among others involved, as well as the descendants of the crew of the Ertuğrul frigate.
In the afternoon, the Prime Minister held talks with Mr. Victor Ponta, Prime Minister of Romania.
Later, the Prime Minister attended the opening ceremony of the Marmaray Project, held talks with H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey, and held a joint press conference.
