The Prime Minister Attends Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Indonesia 2013 (First Day)

On October 7 (local time), during his visit to the Republic of Indonesia to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe attended a dialogue between leaders and the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) in the morning. He then held talks with Mr. Truong Tan Sang, President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, following which he delivered a keynote speech at APEC CEO Summit 2013.
In the afternoon, Prime Minister Abe attended the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting (session theme: "Apec's Role in Strengthening the Multilateral Trading System in the Current Global Economic Situation"), held talks with Dr. H. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, President of the Republic of Indonesia, and held talks with Mr. Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, President of the Russian Federation.
In the evening, Prime Minister Abe attended a leaders' banquet.
