Second Day of the Prime Minister's Attendance at the 125th IOC Session

On September 7 (local time), in the morning, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who is visiting Buenos Aires, the capital city of the Argentine Republic, delivered Tokyo's presentation and held an official press conference at the 125th Session of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
In the late afternoon, the Prime Minister attended a joint press conference with the IOC, following the announcement ceremony of the host city, when it was announced that Tokyo was selected by the vote of the IOC members to become the host city for the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Later, the Prime Minister held a press conference at a hotel in Buenos Aires and attended a debriefing session hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Bid Committee.
