On July 25 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited Malaysia.
Upon arriving in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur, the Prime Minister attended a welcome ceremony held at the plaza in front of the Prime Minister's Office and held a Japan-Malaysia summit meeting. After the meeting, the Prime Minister attended the ceremony for the signing of memorandums on cooperation for heavy particle radiotherapy for cancer and on cooperation for the issuance of Samurai bonds, following which a joint press announcement was held.
In the evening, the Prime Minister attended a banquet hosted by Mr. Najib Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia.
