Prime Minister Shinzo Abe attended the Inauguration Ceremony for the Newly Reorganized Medical Excellence Japan, which was held in Tokyo.

The Prime Minister said in his address,

"Good evening, my name is Shinzo Abe.
It is fair to say that it is the dream of humanity to create a society wherein people can live a long, sound life. Japan has a society wherein people can live a long life, and is realizing a society wherein people can live a long, sound life.
As a pillar of the Growth Strategy, to create a society of longevity, we will not merely export medical devices, but will export health itself.
Health truly makes our lives richer. There can be no doubt that a country's growth depends on health.
With the inauguration of the newly reorganized Medical Excellence Japan, we will thoroughly export Japan's advanced medical devices and medical technology to the world, and become healthier with the world. I hope to live in a world in which every person on this planet can live a healthy, long life."
