Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, during his visit to Yokohama to attend the Fifth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD V), held talks with African leaders.
The Prime Minister held meetings, respectively, with Mr. Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda, Mr. Alhaji Yahya Jammeh, President of the Republic of the Gambia, Mr. Hifikepunye Pohamba, President of the Republic of Namibia, His Majesty Mswati III, King of the Kingdom of Swaziland, Mr. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda, Dr. Hisham Mohamed Qandil, Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Idriss Déby Itno, President of the Republic of Chad, Mr. Mohammed Namadi Sambo, Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mr. José Maria Neves, Prime Minister of the Republic of Cape Verde, and lastly with Mr. Motsoahae Thomas Thabane, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Lesotho.
