On March 30 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited Mongolia, with which Japan marked the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations last year.
After arriving at Ulan Bator and attending the welcome ceremony, Prime Minister Abe signed his name in the guestbook at the government building, held talks with Mr. Norov Altankhuyag, Prime Minister of Mongolia, held talks with Mr. Tsakhia Elbegdorj, President of Mongolia, held a joint press conference, and held talks with Mr. Ulziisaikhan Enkhtuvshin, Chairman of the Mongolian People's Party.
Prime Minister Abe then attended the banquet hosted by Prime Minister Altankhuyag.
