On February 22 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who is visiting Washington D.C., the United States, offered a flower at Arlington National Cemetery.
In the afternoon, Prime Minister Abe held talks with Mr. Barack Obama, President of the United States, at the White House.
Following this, the Prime Minister delivered a policy speech at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).
Later, the Prime Minister held a press conference at a hotel in the city.
In the evening, the Prime Minister attended a reception with personnel engaged in Japan-U.S. exchanges held at a hotel in the city.
