Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited Miyagi Prefecture to gauge the progress of reconstruction from the Great East Japan Earthquake.

First, the Prime Minister observed a shipyard, a paper mill and a freezing and processing facility in Ishinomaki City.

Then, the Prime Minister headed to Iwanuma City, and observed construction work for the development of areas for group transfer for disaster prevention.

Lastly, the Prime Minister headed to Watari Town, and, after observing Watari Town, had talks with the residents of temporary housing there.
