Prime Minister Shinzo Abe received a greeting from the representatives of the six regional organizations at the Prime Minister's Office.

The Prime Minister said in his address,

"I would also like to move the politics forward with the belief that without the revival of regions, there can be no revival for Japan.
I have instructed the members of the Cabinet to compile economic measures by the end of this week. The top prioritized issue for the Abe administration is the revival of economy, with bold monetary policy, flexible public finance policy, and a growth strategy. Mainly in the fiscal policy, I am considering making secure investment in the future that is worth dreaming of, by ensuring disaster prevention and mitigation, as well as regional vitality."
