The first Cabinet meeting in 2013 was held at the Prime Minister's Office, which was disclosed to the public. The scenes of the Cabinet meeting can be viewed in videos via the related link (Public Relations Office - Government of Japan, "The First Cabinet Meeting in 2013," January 8, 2013 [Video Archive]).
The cabinet room is approximately 110 square meters, with a wooden round table seated by Cabinet members. Wood is also used for the walls, creating a space with a poised atmosphere.

A Cabinet meeting is held twice a week in principle, and decisions are made as the Cabinet on important matters in national affairs.
