Visit to the United States: Second Day

On November 16, 2023 (local time), Prime Minister Kishida, who is visiting San Francisco in the United States to attend the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) Leaders’ Meeting, held a Summit meeting respectively with the Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, and H.E. Mr. YOON Suk Yeol, President of the Republic of Korea (ROK).
In the afternoon, Prime Minister Kishida attended a family photo session, followed by an informal dialogue and working lunch with guest economies, and then attended the IPEF (Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity) Leaders’ Meeting. Afterwards, the Prime Minister held an informal talk among Japan-U.S.-ROK leaders, before holding a Summit meeting respectively with the Honorable Joseph R. Biden, Jr., President of the United States of America, and Mr. Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China. Lastly, Prime Minister Kishida attended an event to promote Japanese marine products.
