Visit to Saudi Arabia

On July 16, 2023 (local time), Prime Minister Kishida visited Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.
 
Prime Minister Kishida inspected a hydrogen-powered motorcycle engine research vehicle and attended the Saudi-Japan Roundtable Meeting. Then, the Prime Minister received a courtesy call from H.E. Jasem Al Budaiwi, Secretary General, Gulf Cooperation Council, attended a signing of documents ceremony, received a courtesy call from H.E. Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary General, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and held a talk with the companies participating in the economic missions. Afterwards, Prime Minister Kishida held a summit meeting with His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and spoke to the press regarding the meeting.
