On April 29, 2022 (local time), Prime Minister Kishida visited Jakarta in the Republic of Indonesia.

On April 28, 2022, Prime Minister Kishida held a summit meeting and other events with H.E. Mr. Olaf Scholz, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, at the Prime Minister’s Office.

On April 27, 2022, Prime Minister Kishida held the 5th meeting of the Council on Economic and Fiscal Policy in 2022 at the Prime Minister's Office.

On April 25, 2022, Prime Minister Kishida received a courtesy call at the Prime Minister’s Office from Professor Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum.

On April 23, 2022, Prime Minister Kishida attended the Fourth Asia-Pacific Water Summit (APWS) held in Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture, in the gracious presence of Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress by video conference.

On April 22, 2022, Prime Minister Kishida attended the opening ceremony for the special exhibition in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the reversion of Okinawa to Japan “Looking Back on the Reversion of Okinawa to Japan through Public Records” held in the National Archives of Japan.

On April 21, 2022, the Prime Minister held a summit meeting and other events with the Rt. Hon. Jacinda Ardern, Prime Minister of New Zealand, at the Prime Minister’s Office.

On April 21, 2022, the Prime Minister attended a meeting of the Ministerial Council on the Monthly Economic Report and other relative issues at the Prime Minister’s Office.

On April 19, 2022, the Prime Minister attended a summit-level video conference on the situation in Ukraine with the leaders of the United States of America, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Federal Republic of Germany, the French Republic, the Italian Republic, Canada, the Republic of Poland, Romania, and the European Union (EU) as well as the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) at the Prime Minister’s Official Residence.

On April 18, 2022, the Prime Minister held a summit meeting with H.E. Mr. Ignazio Cassis, President and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, at the Prime Minister’s Office.

On April 18, 2022, the Prime Minister attended the 16th Ceremony of Awarding the MIDORI Prize held in Tokyo, in the gracious presence of Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress. After delivering his address at the ceremony, the Prime Minister presented the MIDORI Academic Prize and the Prime Minister's Commendations for Contributors to the National Greening Campaign.

On April 16, 2022, the Prime Minister held a breakfast meeting with a delegation led by Senator Lindsey Graham, United States Senate, at the Prime Minister’s Official Residence.
