Visit to Hyogo Prefecture

On April 9, 2022, the Prime Minister visited Hyogo Prefecture.

The Prime Minister received a briefing at the container terminal of Kobe Port and conducted an inspection tour. Afterwards, he visited the main building of the Integrated Research Center of Kobe University and received an explanation on its research overview. Then he received a briefing at Creative Lab for Innovation in Kobe and sat down to talk with a small group of people. Following that, he embarked on a liquefied hydrogen carrier at a liquified hydrogen cargo handling demonstration terminal, received a briefing, and attended a ceremony to mark the completion of a demonstration test for developing a Japan-Australia hydrogen supply chain. At the end of the visit, the Prime Minister spoke to the press regarding his visit to Hyogo Prefecture and other matters.
