The Council on Measures for Society with Decreasing Birthrate is a body established in September 2003, based on the Basic Law on Measures for Society with Decreasing Birthrate.
Specifically, the Council discusses important items concerning measures for a society with a decreasing birthrate and promotes the implementation of measures that counter the decreasing birthrate, in addition to compiling the draft of the Outline of Measures for Society with Decreasing Birthrate and coordinating the administrative agencies concerned for implementing the measures.
