Headquarters for the Promotion of Measures Against Firearms

Through close coordination among the administrative agencies concerned, strict regulation of firearms, publicity and educational campaigns that seek public understanding and cooperation, and other comprehensive and active measures are being promoted. The Headquarters for the Promotion of Measures Against Firearms, based on the "Outline for Promotion of Measures Against Firearms" (Headquarters for the Promotion of Measures Against Firearms decision, December 9, 1995), is drawing up promotion plans of such measures and conducting follow-ups on their status of progress.
